Monroe County Lottery Player Claims $5,000,000 Scratch-Off Prize

Roger Adkins of Rochester has claimed a $5,000,000 top prize on the New York Lottery’s $5,000,000 Blitz scratch-off game. 

Adkins opted to receive his $5,000,000 prize as 20 annuitized payments. His yearly payments, after required withholdings, will total $162,756 each. 

The winning ticket was purchased at Tops Markets located at 98 South Ave. in Hilton. 

As of this writing, there were three of the $5,000,000 top prizes remaining on the $5,000,000 Blitz ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov. 

New York Lottery scratch-off games generated $4,339,794,048 in total sales during fiscal year 2024-2025. School districts in Monroe County received $199,870,774 in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
