Rensselaer County Lottery Player Claims $5,000,000 Scratch-Off Prize
Daniel Jeffries of Troy has claimed a $5,000,000 top prize on the New York Lottery’s 200 Extra scratch-off game.
Jeffries elected to receive a single lump sum payment totaling $2,200,386, after required withholdings.
The ticket was purchased at Stewart’s Shops located at 10 Sweetmilk Creek Rd. in Troy.
As of this writing, there were three top prizes remaining on the 200 Extra ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.
New York Lottery scratch-off games generated $4,339,794,048 in total sales during fiscal year 2024-2025. School districts in Rensselaer County received $35,396,456 in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
