How does NYL+ work?

NYL+ is New York Lottery's Second Chance and Promotions Program. Players can earn Plus Points to play promotions with chances to win cash and other prizes. Players can earn Plus Points by scanning eligible tickets or by exploring NYL+ features. You must scan a valid ticket before you can start earning points.

How do I get the New York Lottery app?

You can download the app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store by searching "Official NY Lottery" or visiting our page.

How do I enroll in New York Lottery+?

If you already have a New York Lottery Official App or Collect ’N Win account, you are automatically enrolled! Just log into the app using your existing credentials to access your account. If you don't have an account, use the "Create Account" button in the app or on the website and follow the instructions to create an account.

How can I use points?

Navigate to the My NYL+ tab in New York Lottery app or visit the Promotions page of the website. Here you'll see our current promotions and how many points they take to enter. Tap on each promotion to see the details and use your points. Points will then be turned into entries. Your entries will be listed in your History tab. You can access individual promotion FAQs on the promotions page.

How do I know if I've won?

If you win a drawing, you will be notified using the contact information (email) in your account with instructions for redeeming your prize. Please be sure to keep your account information up to date.
